Pilgrim Progress

Tuesday, April 1, 2014

It's just six months since Church House Publishing launched Pilgrim: A Course for the Christian Journey, but already a lot has happened.

We have completed publishing of the 'Follow' stage - for enquirers and new Christians - and already over 30,000 copies have been sold across the series.

There are encouraging signs, too, that the course is making progress in its core aim: to encourage and equip every church to engage with enquirers and help Christians new and old to deepen their discipleship.

Thousands of people are already using Pilgrim to explore the Christian journey with others in groups meeting across the UK and beyond. Lent is a particularly good time to begin this, and we have been encouraging those using the material to share their #pilgrimprogress on Twitter to encourage other churches to get involved.

Could Pilgrim help your church make progress? To help you find out, a newly released video of Bishop Stephen Cottrell talking about four key aspects of the course at the press launch at Lambeth Palace back on 1 October last year is now available on the Church House Publishing site.
